UF offers a variety of distance training options for continuing education credits and non-credit professional certificates. Specific courses and short programs are also listed on our Courses page.

UF’s professional certificate programs are designed and developed to provide access for working professionals who wish to enhance their knowledge and expertise in a certain area or transition into a new profession by making accessible the University's resources for continuing education training and professional career development. These programs offer an online open enrollment format designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional level positions for many in-demand occupations. These programs include online training programs, some of which might have on-site components.

These programs are not offered as degree seeking programs and do not involve traditional college credit, although some might include the continuing education credit necessary for licensure, re-licensure, professional certification, or re-certification.
