Master of Science in Pharmacy - Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Description:

The Pharmaceutical Chemistry concentration, provided by the College of Pharmacy, is structured to provide the student with a strong foundation in analytical techniques, drug pharmacology, metabolism, drug chemistry and organic synthesis. This program may be of interest to those currently working or seeking employment in the following areas:

  • Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Drug Regulatory Agencies
  • Analytical Laboratories

This program will also be of interest to Chemistry majors who wish to obtain graduate level courses in pharmaceutical sciences with a view to entering pharmaceutical industry. This program provides a mechanism for students worldwide to take a graduate coursework specifically tailored to that need.

Delivery: Web, Lab Requirements: Locational - A one-credit course consisting of three days of reviews, oral examination, and a comprehensive final examination in Gainesville, Florida. (Masters Only)
