The Graduate Certificate Program in Emergency Services/Disaster Management is designed for working professionals who are seeking to expand their knowledge in emergency planning, hazard mitigation and preparedness, disaster response and recovery, and homeland security. The goal is to create broad experience that includes the many elements of current cases in ES/DM and emphasizes both the critical thinking and leadership skills necessary to advance in the field.

Prerequisites: Undergraduate degree, at least 2 years meaningful, supervisory and management related experience. If you plan to continue on to obtain a Masters degree, a cumulative verbal and quantitative GRE score of 1000 or better.
