Certificate in Pest Control Technology

Description:
The certificate in Pest Control technology will be awarded upon completion of 24 credits of course work selected from the Urban Pest Management and Landscape Pest Management certificate programs. This program is designed to provide employees of the Florida pest control industry with the academic qualifications needed to satisfy the academic requirements of Florida state statute 482, which requires 24 semester hours of entomology or pest control (in addition to 1 year of employment as a service employee in pest control) to qualify for taking the examination for the Pest Control Operator’s certificate.
