The University of Florida graduate certificate in Health Care Risk Management is designed to prepare working professionals in healthcare or law to enter the field of health care risk management. After completing the program, students will have an understanding of general risk management techniques, standards of health care risk management administration, federal, state and local laws, and methods for integrating patient safety and enterprise risk management into a comprehensive risk management program. Upon completion of this program students who meet certain criteria may be eligible to become licensed health care risk managers in the State of Florida.
