Course Management Systems

The University of Florida's Distance Learning programs use various course management systems (CMS) (e.g. - Blackboard, WebCT Campus Edition, WebCT Vista) to deliver course content and facilitate online communication among professors and students. The CMS used is determined by the course provider.

For assistance with WebCT Campus Edition or Vista, contact the UF Computing Help Desk: (352) 392-HELP or helpdesk@ufl.edu.

If your program does not use WebCT, you must contact your program's technical support personnel.

Be sure to visit the Software page for a list of free file viewers, web browsers, audio/video players and plug-ins, some of which are required to view course content delivered by your programs respective CMS.

Additional Resources

Additional resources and utilities such as WebCT Demos, WebCT Browser Tuneup, and Turnitin are available from UF's e-Learning Support Services. These powerful resources are available to all students.
